Over the last week, there has been a big change. I had to rush to the hospital on Thursday afternoon and after waiting for hours and making them do an ultrasound, was told that I had what is called a partial molar pregnancy. The chance is less than 1 in 1,000, but it has happened. Surgery was Friday morning and I was able to get home to my mom and dad’s that night. Recovery physically has been going great, dealing with the Drs not so much. A year or so of tests are in the future to be sure nothing turns out wrong, though I’m hoping less.
This child has been named Kelly and although it didn’t know life long, my little Kelly is remembered and loved. There are times when I forget and rub my hand across my belly, saying a little prayer. This time is hard and probably will be for a while. The Lord will provide continued strength and patience during the next year as I physically heal and we wait to be sure that nothing turns to cancer. He has been soverign throughout all of this and will be forevermore.
